Private Cottage  Closed all off 2020

Enjoy the inspiring sunsets from this two bedroom cottage located on 100 ft of Saint Lawrence River with a clear view of Wolfe Island and the main St Lawrence Seaway channel.
The vintage St. Lawrence River cottage is located on a private road with ample parking. It was built is 1950 and designed by Rochester Architect Robert Brodie, it is a unique blend of Frank Lloyd Wright and St. Lawrence Fishing cottage.
Located directly on the River; the living and dining area (great room) have a fabulous view of the main Seaway shipping channel. It is a great place for viewing passing Seaway ships and sunsets. Our cottage has two bedrooms on the main floor, one with a walk-in closet. The loft has two sleeping areas with double beds and ample closet space in a walk-in closet. The single bathroom located downstairs has a shower/tub combination. Cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, which includes a microwave, toaster, coffee maker and dishes, etc. Downstairs bedrooms each have a single double bed. The great room provides ample views of the River and passing ships. The main floor opens onto a deck overlooking the River. The deck has 4 chairs and a table and it overlooks the swimmable flat rock beach just feet away. Rocks can be very slippery, bathing shoes are a must.
The lawn ends in a series of rock ledges that lead into the water providing excellent swimming or kayaking as well as on shore fishing. A private road surrounded by a wooded preserve provide ample walking opportunities. Located across from the center of Wolfe Island, the views and sunsets are
spectacular.
